1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SEO Optimizer ("the Service"), operated via seooptimizer.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SEO Optimizer provides AI-powered SEO optimization tools for ecommerce product listings. The Service connects to your Shopify or WooCommerce store to analyze and optimize product titles, descriptions, meta tags, and image alt text.

3. Account and Store Access

To use the Service, you must authorize access to your ecommerce store via Shopify OAuth or WooCommerce API credentials. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur through your connected store
  • Ensuring you have the authority to grant us access to the store

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of a charge for refund requests
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond normal usage
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate SEO optimization suggestions. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated suggestions are recommendations, not guarantees of SEO performance
  • You are responsible for reviewing all suggestions before pushing them to your live store
  • We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings or traffic increases
  • You retain full ownership of your product content, both original and as modified by the Service

7. Data and Content

You retain all ownership rights to your store data and product content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access, process, and store your product data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We will not sell, share, or use your product data for any purpose other than providing the Service, except as required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEO Optimizer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of termination unless retention is required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
